Camper Renovation...
Currently, I am sitting in a whole new place than I normally would be- our 1986 Corsair travel trailer, in Cape Charles Virginia! Hurricane Dorian has decided to put a little damper on a much needed trip, but it's ok because we love taking in all of our hard work. Camping since I was three months old with my family all I can say is I'm pretty sure camping will always be a part of my life! My parents had asked me a long time ago if Jack and I wanted redo this camper (they had redone it about 15 years ago!!), and we finally got around to finishing (good enough to go camping in!). Lets put it this way, if I didn't book a little trip with it, it would still be being worked on. My awesome Dad helped my husband take the whole backend down to dirt and redo the metal (and basically taught us the ins and outs of camping and repair). Jacks carpentry skills made the cabinets, bed, and all the walls and floor. We had started this last summer, but it was at my parents an hour away, so when Jack brought it home May 22, it was game time. From May 22 up to July 8, we worked on it almost every night after work. Three gallons of paint later (thats the inside only!! I still need to repaint the outside!!), A LOT of sewing, artwork, and a slight obsession, and here we are enjoying it!!! I'm able to bring it to shows far away and stay overnight much cheaper than any hotel or air B&B. Here it is!!
