Seems to be a yearly blog...
Well, I noticed I am terrible at the blog thing. Here's a cute story. I was asked to paint a surfboard over the fall. I painted it, had a great friend named Greg Melega resin it, and had it in storage until my client came back down. I got to deliver it to them, and we got to talking about family and work, and low and behold, their daughter was on the US Women's Lacrosse team- the same one my brother in law coached!!!!!!! Also, the same one I got to make awards for!!!!!!!! What are the odds of that?! Just goes to show it's a small world and pretty awesome.
Here's a recap of winter- I had shoulder surgery, had to rest for a little, did a 10ftx4ft chalkboard wall for KTB Coffee shop in North Arlington, in a sling. Did some more chalk boards, started working again in the studio (that felt glorious), and just started doing classes again, man I missed that. I have had some really great jobs this spring with awesome clients, and I am so grateful!!!!!! Still missing surfing and doing what I love outdoors, but have been able to do some fun hikes with friends.
I have some shows lined up- keep an eye on instagram and facebook, but here's the line up so far-
May 11- Asbury Park Bazaar
June 23- Bay Head Art in the Park
July 14- Viking Village LBI
August 3 & 4 -Stone Harbor Art Show
Hope to see your face at any of these shows if you're reading this!!!!!!
